Mezz Pro-Am made its way to Fat Albert’s Billiards in Somerdale Nj for the Fat Albert’s scotch doubles event on Saturday February 16th 2019. A Strong field of 22 teams came out to play teams like: Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham, Melvin Garcia Sr. & Melvin Garcia Jr., Al Tonelli & Adam Kielar, Toni Rudi & Nick Comstock, Carl Morgan & Derek Benevidez, Joey Testa & Jimmy Walder,Matt Krah & Mike Saleh, Billy Gallagher & Tony Zubec, Jimmy Rivera & Emerson Verano to name a few. Special thanks to Al Tonelli and his wonderful staff for hosting the event.

Leading the top half of the bracket was Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham with wins over Aaron Gamm & Rocco Ward 7-1, Roger Halder & Frank Barkalow 7-1, Tony Rudi & Nick Comstock 7-3. Leading the bottom half of the bracket was Melvin Garcia Sr. & Melvin Garcia Jr. with wins over Charlie Marshall Sr. & Charlie Marshall Jr. 7-3, Vinny Cemarelli& Michael Praseutsy7-3, Al Tonelli &Adam Kielar 7-3.

Playing for the hot seat was Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham vs Melvin Garcia Sr. & Melvin Garcia Jr. this was a great match that went hill hill it was Melvin Garcia Sr. & Melvin Garcia Jr. coming away with the win 7-6 and sending Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham to the on Lost side. Waiting for Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham was Al Tonelli & Adam Kielar this too was a great match that went hill hill it was Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham coming away with the win 6-5 to get to the finals.

In the finals it was a rematch from earlier that day Melvin Garcia Sr. & Melvin Garcia Jr. Vs Jerry Dunne & Eddie Abraham both teams decided to split the finals. Congratulations to Melvin Garcia Sr. and Melvin Garcia Jr. for going undefended.
